World Press Freedom Day, in the US? This is what you call information war, or just hypocracy!

Through seeing an interview on CNN with the second Dutch guy, that was arrested for the ddos attacks on Mastercard , Visa, and others, I found a press release from the US dept. of state.
I quote:"The United States is pleased to announce that it will host UNESCO’s World Press Freedom Day event in 2011". Now if you want to know why some people want to kill Julian Assange,....more...

Read the following quote, and ask yourself: who do you think international journalists will choose?
I quote again from the same press release:"This prize, determined by an independent jury of international journalists, honors a person, organization or institution that has notably contributed to the defense and/or promotion of press freedom, especially where risks have been undertaken."

Now even I understand the United States do not want to get their hands on Julian Assange to see him get a medal for being so brave and honest. They need him out of the way as fast as they can. The world press freedom day is to be held in may 2011, so you can see why they are in a hurry.

Further more I am keeping an extra eye open to see how they will try and manipulate the "independant journalists" to choose someone else.
Now dou you get the picture? Even Obama is now showing off how "open"the government is by opening up all of his email,.. at least that is what we are led to believe. I do not believe one word of that. knowing that celebrities have professional teams to redact and publish their tweets, so do government leaders. It must be an advertising agency that got the contract to post "all of the presidents email" and are ordered to write anything that sounds just a little bit personal, but not too much though!"
